This is wrong. This is so wrong. But it did get me to bookmark the website.

The Paper

The Party

The cheese is strong with this one.

Update: Also covered by Will. SciFinder on YouTube? Absurd.

To be fair, I didn’t know SciFinder had a web-based platform until this post…

I’m almost a little speachless, lol. I knew they had a web-platform, but that commercial/ad is just so….bad.

Does anyone know how to get access to the web based version of Scifinder and or is there any advantage to it?

It’s almost as if they’re trying to make Scifinder almost like Adult Friend Finder. That sounds so wrong, but really, that’s what I was reminded of. Oh dear God, I stay up way too late seeing commercials like that. I blame Scifinder.

For hot journals, search now! There are authors just waiting for you to discover, just one click away.

The normal version of SciFinder and a bunch of subscriptions to journals cost 100,000 of thousands of dollars a year.

I am not sure why they are making commercials for end users? It is organizations and schools that pay for the service, not end users.
