Well, my spell check says “Mid-west” (with capitalized M), but as far as I’m concerned I am going to a state without a coastline. That’s distinction enough for me.

In regards to the bitter winter, my plan is dig an underground tunnel between my lab and my apartment. Unfortunately I also have thought of doing that when I was at Berkeley…
