Yeah I saw it when I looked round the new organic building. It’s in the basement and is 95% of the reason I applied to study at Oxford!

We’ve had one at the University of Edinburgh for about a year; it’s being decommissioned due to various problems with items getting stuck. I for one am glad to see it go, if only to stop me impulse-buying NMR tubes instead of washing the old ones!

No, they have these at Oxford (think this might actually be that one…) – I can confirm they are real! And great And re. the bottles, a little shelf goes up to collect them. And they don’t put anything too dangerous in them!

Is this the CRL in Oxford (it looks like the end of one of the dirty corridors)? I remember them going in when I worked there. There’s a big lump of foam at the bottom so the bottles don’t smash.
