  1. True story about “blood stains” on a lab coat.

We were working with a client who was making color cement patching products, one of which was, you guessed it, blood red (iron oxide) to be used in slaughterhouses. If the cement wasn’t bloody red when it was laid down, it very soon was going to be.

After working on that project, we had several lab coats that looked like we had just filmed a horror movie. (Texas Extruder Massacre III in 3D!)

  2. This is funny. One of my TA’s for my Pchem Lab was using a random lab coat and a sudden skin irritation developed rather quickly & continued to grow up her neck until she took it off. Fortunately for her it went away quickly too.
